  • 1.5 cups glutinous rice
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 ripe mangoes, sliced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Method

  • Soak and steam the glutinous rice until tender.
  • Warm the coconut milk with sugar and salt to make a sauce.
  • Pour most of the sauce over the hot rice and let it absorb.
  • Serve the rice with mango slices and the reserved coconut sauce.
