How does the 30-day free trial work?
When you start a membership you get full access to every recipe for 30 days at no charge. You can cook the entire library, save favorites, and decide whether it is for you. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never billed.
When and how am I billed?
Nothing is charged during your 30-day trial. After the trial, your plan renews automatically: the monthly plan is $9.49 per month and the annual plan is $99.49 per year, charged to the card on file until you cancel.
Does my membership auto-renew?
Yes. So your access never lapses, memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the standard rate for your plan. You can turn off renewal at any time from your account, and you will keep access through the period you have already paid for.
How do I cancel?
Sign in, open your account page, and cancel in a couple of clicks. There are no cancellation fees, no phone calls, and no retention hoops. You can cancel any time, including during the free trial.
What is free, and what is members-only?
Of our 115 recipes, 57 are free to read by anyone and 58 are members-only. Free recipes show the full ingredients and method; members-only recipes unlock completely once you start a membership.
How many cuisines do you cover?
Ten: Korean, American, Italian, Mexican, BBQ and smokehouse, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Thai, and Mediterranean. One membership unlocks all of them, and we add new recipes across every cuisine over time.
How much does shipping cost on kitchen-store orders?
Standard shipping is a flat rate within the contiguous United States, and orders over $75 ship free. Everything ships from our location in Florida, usually within one to two business days of your order.
Where do you ship from, and where do you ship to?
All kitchen-store orders ship from Florida. We currently ship within the United States. If you have a question about a specific destination, email us before ordering and we will confirm.
What is your return and refund policy?
We back every purchase with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Unused kitchen-store items can be returned within 30 days, and membership is refundable under the terms in our refund policy. See the refund policy for full details.
Do your recipes include dietary information?
Recipes note key details like servings, time, and difficulty, and many flag common considerations such as vegetarian-friendly options or easy swaps. Nutrition figures, where shown, are estimates. Always check ingredient labels yourself if you cook for allergies or specific dietary needs.
I have a food allergy. Can I trust your recipes?
We try to call out common allergens and offer substitutions where we can, but we cannot guarantee a recipe is free of any specific allergen. You are responsible for reading labels and adapting recipes to your needs. When in doubt, consult a medical professional.
How do I create an account or reset my password?
You can create a free account from the register page in under a minute. Because accounts are managed securely, password help is handled by our support team. Visit the password help page and email us, and we will get you back in.
Is my payment information secure?
Payments are processed over an encrypted connection by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Your billing details are handled with industry-standard security so checkout stays safe.
Can I request a recipe?
Please do. Recipe requests genuinely shape what we cook next, and members get priority. Email your idea to info@kimchihalfie.com and we will add it to the list.
Do you have an app, a phone line, or social media?
The site works great on a phone browser, so there is no separate app to install. We do not run a phone line or social media accounts. The best way to reach a real person on the kitchen team is always email.
