Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
  • 1 cup spinach, blanched
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 4 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Method

  • Heat sesame oil in a stone or cast-iron bowl until very hot.
  • Press the rice into the bowl and layer the vegetables and beef on top.
  • Fry the eggs and set them over the bowl, then add a spoon of gochujang.
  • Mix everything together at the table while the rice crisps at the edges.
